How to run Ubuntu in Windows 10

Hello friends, in this post you will learn how to run Ubuntu in Windows 10. We’ll not use VirtualBox or VMware or any additional software to run Ubuntu. Only you need to enable WSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux). To enable WSL follow the following steps.

  1. Open “Control Panel”
  2. Click on “Programs and Features”
  3. Then click on “Turn Windows features on or off”

4. After that, a new window will appear. Scroll down and you will find the “Windows Subsystem for Linux” option. Enable it by click on the checkbox.

WSL is enabled in your system. Now is the time to install Ubuntu in your Windows 10. Open the Windows Store and search for Ubuntu. Here you will find three Ubuntu versions.
Install any Ubuntu version you like.
After downloading and installing open Ubuntu and run Ubuntu commands.
